Hiya everyone. Can anyone tell me how to reduce the size of photos to send in an email? I know that somewhere in the computer there is a way to do this but I can't find it! My emails are therefore taking ages to send and it will be driving the recipeints nuts at the time they take to download. HELP!!!
Thanks very much, Maz xxxx

You should have the Paint programme in Accessories section. Maximise the Paint window. Choose File>Open and select the picture which you have already put intoa folder. Assess what % you wish to reduce. Choose Image> Stretch/Skew, type into the top two boxes the % you want to try. Click OK. The image will now be resized. You can go back to resize it. To save it, choose File >Save As and in the Save as type box choose JPEG. Type a new name for this picture. Close the Paint programme, write your e-mail message and attach your new picture.
DONT do this on your originals.

SAVE your original pictures and only reduce the size on copies.

That way you always have the original pictures in their original format.
If you have Windows XP you dont have to do anything to resize for email.
Go to the picture thumbnail view.
Right Click on it.
Click Send To
Click Mail Recipient
Up comes the option "Make my pictures smaller.
Click OK
Up comes Outlook Express
