I have been experiencing a on-going issue with white marks being left on clothes from the washing machine?
This problem also happens on half loads as well.
Product used: Fairy Non-Bio Powder. Volume as recommended. Washing machine = Zannusi.

Has anybody got any fault finding advise?

i used to have this happen i dont think these new machines take enough water to dissolve the powder properly so have switched to liquid. didnt used to have this problem until i got a new machine last year as the old one used to take plenty of water and give the clothes a good sloshing about the new one is supposed to be energy efficient but cant see it myself as its cold fill so it has to heat the water and takes forever to do a 40 wash the old one used to take an hour this one takes nearly 2
i use fairy non-bio as well, and used to have this problem. i have now reduced the amount used (from 2 cubes to 1 + 1/2 cubes instead) and no longer have this problem, but clothes just as clean.
totally agree with ruthann and her theories on the new machines. i too switched to liquid, with a washy-ball, and have sorted the problem. i actually use asda's own, after always having used persil, and can honestly say the clothes come out just as clean, and it's a darn sight cheaper!
I also had this problem and did it wind me up i now use liquid tablets and they are perfect no white marks and nice clean washing.
I dont have this problem, but would like to agree with ethandron. I use asda's smart price wash powder and it is brilliant for a fraction of the price!!!
