"You Tube" links

I know I'm a grumpy old woman but I'm sick to the back teeth of You Tube links appearing in just about every section. The people who post them usually ask the question "Is this the funniest clip you've ever seen?" I don't see how this qualifies as a question in the spirit of Answerbank. I'm not interested in them and would like to say to these people GET A LIFE!
Am I on my own with this one or does anyone else agree with me?

If you don't want to look at them, don't click on them.

That's no different from ANY question or answer that doesn't appeal to you.

yer I can see where you're coming from but just skip past them or report it, but really it isnt against Site Rules and to tell someone to get a life is a bit too much. I havent seen that much of the clips people are still tening to just put the link.

I post links to YouTube (I don't use the AB facility) where I think it is appropriate or helpful to the question - music or adverts usually. It is useful to confirm we have the right music or advert.

I don't even open the threads that you refer to, mrs_overall, and tend to avoid most of body and soul.

VINNY, if I had the choice between clicking on the link you posted or smearing my eyeballs with jam and standing next to a wasps nest.....the jam would win every time.
