Break Body and Soul into several categories
6 Answers
Hi, I know that there have been some suggestions about the body and soul category, but I think the questions tend to be in several distinct sub categories, and creating those categories might make it more manageable. How about:
Relationships
Health
Hair and Fashion
Religion and Spirituality
I may be missing a couple, but you get the idea. To keep the list of categories manageable, they could all be "sub-categories" inside the bigger section of Body and Soul.

I think if you're going to get that specific, then you need to overhaul the whole site and have sub-categories of sub-categories of sub-categories of the main categories. For instance you'd click Body & Soul and then get a list of sub headings such as Haircare, Personal Hygiene, Fashion Advice, Relationships etc. etc. ad. inf. And then clicking on Haircare (for instance) would bring up another list, like Dying, Styling, Washing etc.
It's either this, or keep the categories very all-encompasing, much like they already are. Except Parenting.

Impossible, I know, but the theory behind the categories is to keep things as simple as possible - which means lumping some subjects together. It also means avoiding sub-categories as that would make it harder to navigate through the site.
However, we do keep an eye on subjects that deserve a category of their own (Adverts, Quizzes, Suggestions are all quite new) and introduce new categories... eventually!
