usb 2 probs

i have just bought a 4port hi speed hub,my computer is saying that everything i put into this hub is running at reduced speed because of built in computer usb is running reduced speed,iv heard u can update computer usb,looked on net but no joy,any good links thx in advance

A high-speed hub is governed by the USB port that it is plugged in to.
Therefore if your motherboard only supports USB 1.1 then the hub will only run at that speed and not USB 2.0.
Your only solution is to fit USB 2.0 PCI card to a spare PCI slot in your motherboard. For this to work you need to be running XP with Service Packs.
