i would think so! if you've been smoking joints with tobacco then you'll probably be craving for the niccotine. many of my friends cant get to sleep unless they smoke weed, so you will probably suffer from insomnia. many people comment on quitting smoking cigs - that they felt worse not smoking than actually smoking. best thing to do is speak to your doctor and sort out a plan you can work through.

well it sounds as if youve been self medicating with the cannabis, so as a result of stopping side effects could be mood swings, anxiety, possibly even anger.

There probably will be a period of adjustment, it depends on your character. If you use it as a crutch, then you will have to find something to replace it to make sure your anxiety doesn't rise significantly.

On the plus side, you should feel much clearer headed, your memory should start improving quite quickly, you will have more get up and go to go out and live your life rather than sitting in a blue haze in front of the tv.
