Summer 2008 - Altinkum - Turkey

Hi all - have just booked a weeks holiday at the above resort for me, hubby and 4 year old daughter.

Has anyone been to this resort?? - have read about it on internet and sounds lovely but was just wondering if anyone had been there and what they thought of it.

Been 3 times and always had a good time, it's about 2 hrs from the airport so make sure you have drinks and food with you.
It's more western than I thought and the people are very friendly, in fact over friendly and won't leave you alone if you show interest.
A lot of English have bars, etc so you can get anything from a meat pie to a true Turkish meal.
Very good and large market on a Sat and don't miss the Temple just outside town.
Good Beach and loads of shops that sell fake goods, I always come back with loads of bargains, ENJOY.
