My Sky+ box is "dropping" and adding programmes

My Sky+ box has dropped two programmes in the last two days! At first I thought that one or both programmes may not have been shown, but I have since found out that they were!

Also, I checked my "Planner" last night and a programme was showing as "to be recorded", but I never put it in there! Either my dog did it or my box is possessed! :o)

Any ideas, please, as to why my box has developed a mind of its own?

i also have a sky+ box and sometimes when i have the series link on it doesnt record it and then when i check the programmes arent on the planner at all and i have to re- programme it, so dont know whats going on

Gina, you've just reminded me of another "quirk" of my Sky+ box! My box will record a "series link" programme, but it (sometimes) will not put the next episode of that programme in the Planner!

I have a theory that they deliberately remove the progs to make you go looking for them and hopefully finding something else you would also like to watch.
