Ethel, I am expecting the printer to print the screen i am looking at however when i press alt and PrtScn there is nothing happening and I'm sat here like a 64 year old dummy!!
In the good old days of DOS PrtScn did indeed output to the printer. However, under Windows it only sends a copy (picture) of the desktop to the Clipboard which can then be pasted into a graphics application.
To print any text or graphics you must use the Print command (via a toolbar or button) from within an application.
