Pension..should I be patient or moan....

I retired in June & am awaiting a company pension & although they promised verbally that I would receive a letter this week, nothing has arrived. The pension is question is a small amount from my most recent employment amounting to just a few hundred pounds but the main amount I paid into with the same employer had been 'frozen' as the pension scheme was changed some years back. This is a much more substantial amount. How long is normal for a company to cough up with my money. They knew in February this year that I would be retiring in June & all the relevant paperwork was forwarded to them late February. Should I just be patient or should I start to moan about the delay. thanks for any replies!

Your employer should have been able to arrange for your pension to be paid by now...especially if they knew in February that you wanted it in June.
I would call them on Monday and demand to know whats going on. Dont take any excuses from them.
