Wii or PS3...?
6 Answers
Hi all, I'm off into town tomorrow with the intension of buying a Wii, but have just been pondering as to whether or not i should spend the extra cash and get a PS3 instead, if any of you out there own either of these could you please post an honest opinion of your experience of owning one of them, i enjoy online gaming and not sure as to which console provides the best and cheapest gaming, if anybody else would like to shed some light or views on this then please feel free to.

Online play really isn't what utilises the Wii's good points the most, most of the fun is the social aspects - laughing at each others bowling pose's and things. If it is only going to be you playing the most then I would advise you to get either the xbox 360 or ps3.
If online gaming is what you will be using the most then xbox360 or ps3 will be the best option... ps3 doesnt have that many great games but alot will be released in the coming months but most of these will also be multi platform (aka available for 360).
just have a look at the games that you would prefer to play, Heres a start -
xbox360 only "gears of war" released
ps3 only "little planet" not released yet
Wii only "Super mario galaxy" not released yet

cheers guys for that, i've not considered the 360 as i never really rated the old x-box over the PS2 and have as stupid as it sounds still think that is or will be the case once the PS3 gets its act together, i think the issue regarding the Wii not really being a serious games console when stood next to either the 360 or PS3 is quite a widespread opinion but so is it thought to be great fun, but as xhxmxsx says its down to personal choice.....Oh the dilemma i'm in lol.
