word games to play whilst travelling
7 Answers
Does anyone know of any games to play whilst travelling that do not involve pens, paper, cards etc. The one we play a lot is one person thinks of a country, say HollanD and then the next person has to think of a country beginning with D and so on. We have done it with christian names and also food but it does get boring on a long haul flight! So any ideas would be great or a web site that list such games

You can use a child's particular interest - we had to do football teams for my great nephew. The journey went very quickly and no-one fidgeted, fought or got bored.
Well, one of you could always start to tell a story and take it a kind of cliff hanger situation and then stop; the story is then taken up by the next narrator who continues, send the tale into any direction they like until such time that they too leave the story in a nail biting climax for someone else to continue.
