Anything which says it will lighten your hair will be permanent so you're best to do a test on a area that is hidden. Personally I wouldn't recommend lightening your hair at home because it's a tricky business. I'm sure, should something go wrong, that your hairdresser could fix it/disguise it for you.
I've used this before in the past and it really does work. my hair went really light coloured. you have to spray it on and hair dry your hair or go out in the sun. It makes your hair feel a bit sticky after, so you might need to wash it and use an intensive conditioner. Also, don't get it on your hands as it makes them come up in funny white marks!
it is permanent and you will have to wait for it to grow out, so be sure before you use it
I used it years ago but didn't get very good results. I took it on holiday with me. Maybe I wasn't out in the sun long enough but I felt that my hair (the strands where I had sprayed the product) went a bit of a yukky colour and not really very blond. It was as if it was on its way to going blond but only went a tiny bit of the way, if that makes any sense! Perhaps with your hair already being blond, you may have better results - mine is dark blond.
It is permanent though and you have to wait for it to grow out whether you like the results or not!
I have blond highlights done at the hairdressers and there is no comparison between that and what the Sun-in did.
Mabe any hairdressers reading your question could advise?
My hair is not a horrible colour but it used to be really blonde and i was trying to get that colour back i again.
I don't like mucking about with my hair in cause anything does go wrong
Thnaks again
sun in gave me brown highlights as I have black hair. I tried it a year ago and noticed the change in colour straight away however I think the colour comes and goes as sometimes its really chocolaty brown and the at times its much lighter and then sometimes the colour can hardly be seen and no this aint just my eyes playing tricks as many people have commented on my hair ever since. Its definately coloured my hair however I agree that it makes the hair crumbly!!
