odd one out and connections quiz

just received my quiz today but i think i must be thick as i really don't know where to start .

I have actually done question 8 and the connection and question 12 and connection
oh and just got the connection to 13 even though I dont know who the first person is

I sense without a lot of help this isnt going anywhere.

You must have inspired me as I put my macmillan quiz aside and did question 9 completely
and question 3 apart from 3c but still got the connection

Its the ones that arent people that seem more of a mystery but I will keep going back to it
