My tom cat, Frankie, gets bored and when he gets bored he annoys me. I want a cat sized toy that dispenses food. I have found one

but it is way too expensive. Does anyone know where I will get one? What are the cat ones called?

They are indoor cats and are from the same litter - we live in the centre of town and the roads are far too busy.

It is 0238 hrs and I have been wakened from a great dream - standing on my head and heavy purring into my face was Frankie!!!

Try your local pet store, i always give puppies one of these food cube things, and they love it, keeps them amused for all of 10 minutes!!!! Once they have managed to get the food out of it they get fed up!!! Frankie looks cute, name suits him.

these are cheaper, they are designed for dogs, but suppose would be ok for cats if you put dried food in them

Thanks jules, if he hadn't woken me up at some awful hour I would have thought to look on ebay.

You are right about the toys though - "hours of fun" is usually about five minutes. I play with him when I can but the idea of getting two cats was so that they could play together.

Princess Merlin is a super model who doesn't want to get her nails broken or hair out of place - she just lies and relaxes all the time, coming to get groomed or cuddled from mummy instead of playing.

Every now and then Frankie goads her into playing and she wallops him in the face with her armed paw - usually resulting in another trip to the vet for Frankie for his infected wounds.

I love them to bits.
