So, if you could live your life exactly how you wanted, what kind of a life would that be? Remember the series (The good life) That would be my ideal, well, having enough money to get by & being able to grow your own fruit & veg successfully. A life opting out of the daily grind, watching the fruits of your labour flourish. Living in the countryside, with all those little country lanes, riding my bike that's stuck in my shed & not seen the light of day for years, cause I'm not brave enough to take to the main road! I wouldn't mind living in a little community of like minded people even. So, how about you?

country_boy-too right! Not enough niceness here at the mo, and every post seems to degenerate into someone's private "joke"!

skyep, I know-what we do to keep up! But really I am not fussed about "keeping up", long as we can live. I don't have an expensive lifestyle, nor would I want one. No kids, so that saves a LOT of money! No expensive nights out, designer label clothes and household goods!

cruella-my friend is moving out to the states to open a rescue centre in a couple of years I plan togo for a working hol or two!

Well I pretty much lead an ideal life, I am self employed,only work about 4-5 hours per day, own 2 cottages, got money from the sale of my last cottage, live in a beautiful area (North Wales) and i can go fishing whenever I want, it is the nearest thing to heaven on earth I can think of, also have really good family & friends, so I feel very lucky.

Mr Moon and I live on the edge of the Snowdonia National Park with outstanding views .We have both retired early, paid off the mortgage and no money worries but we don't have good health, so that is what I would wish for more than anything.
raysparx I'm sure we must live near one another by some of your comments on here ??
