Period type pains in pregnancy
7 Answers
Hello All
I'm going to the Docs at 3:30 regardless but I just wanted some advice as last night, when we were making love, I felt a period type pain in my stomach, I told him and we stopped and then it really started hurting and was almost going through to my back.
I'm about 4 weeks pregnant.......
Has anyone experienced this before?
I'm wondering if it was caused by making love?
I haven't had any bleeding or had it since......
Does anyone have any clues?!?!
Thanks peeps.....

I had similar pains after having sex but this was midway through my pregnancy and i was told it was cervical errosion.
Your GP may decide to send you for blood tests and an early scan as period pain can also be a sign of something else.
I have also heard women claim to have implanation bleeds and pains on or around when thier first period is due.
So all in all it could really be anything, maybe even stretching pains or the womb contracting normally, so try not to worry until youve seen GP
Good luck at the doctors!

Hi all, I'm six week's pregnant and having similar pains, they're like period pains but milder, and most frequent during the night or after sex. I have the docs on Weds for my first appt so will let you know how it goes - we only just told people this weekend and I am so excited (and pretty nervous . scared too!). Glad there are some people on here around the same time frame as me!
