That's cats for you, they are very fussy eaters. What they love one day they won't eat the next. Mine loves Felix tuna pouches but won't touch Felix tuna from a tin - makes life verty difficult sometimes as my corner shop only sells the tinned stuff!
Have you tried different varieties of dry food? My cat loves the Purina One (any flavour) and James Wellbeloved but won't eat Whiskers dry food, or Brekkies and occasionaly Go Cat (depending how he's feeling).
Can't really help with the vomiting, sorry. Is she eating the food too fast? Maybe give your vets a ring.

mine 3 kitties are the same as cheekychops' - we feed them felix kitten sachets and they wolf the lot, then one day they decide (all together) that they don't like the plaice ones after all!
we are gradually introducing go-cat kitten which they also seem to like, we'll then reduce the amount of sachet to the amount of biscuits to wean them onto it permanently. we tried iams kitten biscuits and whiskas sachets first which they hated, so perhaps try a different brand than tescos own for a while to see if that helps?
