My mum passed away when I was 17 and two days after her passing, I woke in the middle of the night could not speak or move, but felt a presence in the bedroom. Tried calling out to my sister who was sleeping but no words would come out..tried moving but I couldn't....has anyone else experienced anything like this. x
Hi redbel , wow , it feels odd at the time but so real.
My father died when I was 16 and the next night I awoke in the night , or at least I thought I was awake, and can swear I saw my father stood in the room saying goodbye and smiling .Like you though I didn't get up , just lay there looking at him and then next I remember it was morning.
xx
yeah, sleep paralysis is normal and is what stops us acting out our dreams.
it is still horrible, but if you try to remember that, if you cannot move or talk its because its a dream and you are completely safe - i find i can do that now and can turn the dream into a sort of adventure - a lucid, realistic dream - and get stuck in as i know its not real - or i can wake up easily.
people who sleep walk and talk don't have all their inhibitor working correctly.
I have many spiritual encounters in my house on a regular basis. I can't see them but i can feel their presence. All i seem to see is white lights flashing about the place. When it happens and prior to it happening the room usually goes slightly misty, like a light film of fog has filled the room. Especially at night when i'm on here talking about this type of stuff.
