keep trying to eat healthy, but when i come off nightshift i am drawn to the chilled section that sells bacon or good quality butcher sausages, then the morning rolls fill the room with there aromas, i am a sap but i cant help myself, so i go home and make a pot of tea or coffee, like my bacon rolls with loads of butter, with my sausage rolls it has to be broon sass!!!

I would find the bacon hard to give up but not the sausages. Not that I eat bacon often. Mind you like everything else if you are told you can't have it you will then crave it! LOL

I don't eat bread anyway
ojx
I'm on a diet and you can eat bacon and sausage sarnies! Slimming World, it's fab. Lean bacon and certain sausages are free on a red day so you can eat as much as you like!
I love my bacon sannis and sausage sannies too. As you say, it has to be good quality and from a Butcher Shop.

My take on what to eat is simple, I follow my grandma's advice which was , a little bit of what you fancy will do you no harm.

Linda Mc Cartney was a lifelong vegetarian and died aged 56

My gran never ate anything that didn't come out of a frying pan, she died aged 98

If you fancy a bacon butty enjoy it, we are all going to die of something, personally I would rather die aged 60 half way through my supper of barbecued pork ribs than spend the last 20 years of my life sitting in a bath chair being fed through a tube by a nurse.

Totally agree with you Lovejoy. My favourite is a roll on streaky bacon with tomatoes cooked in the same pan, then covered in brown sauce. I'm here for a good time not a long time.
