Save as in Tiger
My Mac has suddenly started playing up when saving files back down in various applications if not all of them.
I select save as and then when navigating to the folder I want it will not allow me to open up any more folders after the first one by double clicking them. This is in list view and all it will do is drop down the folders withen the folder I have selected instead of openng it, when I then double click one of the drop down folders, the application crashes and quits
Any ideas?, I have created a new user, trashed preferences, reinstalled Tiger, and run Disk Aid all of which have not sorted it out.
I really don't want to have to wipe the hard drive and reinstall everything so any help would be great
Thanks

Can you name some of the apps it does this in please?
I'd strongly suggest you ask at the Apple support forums for Tiger; they have some very knowledgeable people there.

Sorry fo3nix for the delayed reply. It is doing it on all apps, and now if you try to use the tab in the middle of the open window which shows a drop down of the folder paths and recent folders it just quits the app straight away.
If I work from my desktop and not my server there is no problem, but my other Mac does not do any of this at all
Really getting on my nerves now. decided that come the weekend its getting flattened
Thanks Shiz
