Guppy fry growth
1 Answers
My guppie has just given birth to about 40-50 fry. they are in a quite smallish plastic breeding tank. I have read on other websites that it can cause deformaties in the fry for not having enough space to grow. I have no were else to put them becuase the usual tank were the parent came from is full of community fish which they will eat the fry.
Does anyone no what i can do to help my fry grow properly? I cant buy another tank and heater, filter because it is to expensive at the moment.

A good airstone will help to keep the water circulating, but make sure that there are corners where fish can get away from the water flow at night.
The fry will grow better when live food is provided. Guppies are after all also known as mosquito fish.
