MyTravel - upgrades

Has anyone every up-graded to MyTravel Premair? I really want to know if it includes extra baggage allowance as I'm off to Florida in 6 weeks and it would be usefull. I can't find any websites to help me find the answer!

That didn't seem to work! Go to http://www.mytravel.com/
click on Florida holidays (underneath top 10 destinations). Put in pretend details (I put I was flying from Gatwick on October 6, 2 adults!). Just click on get details on the first flight that comes up, on the next page it will give you options to upgrade your flight, I can see that the Premiair package would cost another �249 per person, but next to that in green you can see the word details, click on that and it will give you all the details of the Premiair package. Simple really!

Is it their premair gold? If so when we used it last year the baggage allowance was increased to 30kg per person. Mind you, the extra leg room, free drinks on board and priority baggage collection in resort alone were worth the extra money paid!

tip for the USA, take 2 bags each for the outward journey place one bag inside the other, you are bound to by lots because of the exchange rate, then coming back you have an extra bag. Dont take too many clothes, the malls are to die for and you can buy and wear as you go along.
We dont even take shampoo etc its much cheaper out there, but remember to sellotape around all liquid tubes & bottles that are going in your suitcase, saves leakages.
Most airlines going to US allow 2 bags up to 40kgs [ even Virgin & BA] by paying extra for My Travel premium you are only getting what the other airlines give to economy passengers.
If you are going to upgrade do it soon as the seats go quite quickly, its much more comfortable seating for a long haul.

Thanks for all that - I can't wait to hit the shops! We were originally going with Virgin and they were only 20kg as well and their seat pitch was pretty low as well. I'm all up-graded now, can't wait for it to come ; )
