Does anyone know of a programme i can run or any way of rectifying the keys on my keyboard one or two of which appear to have got swapped with each other ?

sounds like you have got your keyboard/computer to be in another country. The US for example. If you go to Start/ control panel and regional and language options you might find that you are not seeing English (united kingdom). Try it?
