How does a Greek man show he likes you ?

this love? Or is it Greek etiquette ?
I am friends with a Greek man-he is mid-30`s,like me-his english is ok-but he`s not fluent.I speak very little Greek-but am learning.
twice now when Ive visited him & my other friends there-when leaving,everyone else has just hugged me or kissed me on the cheeks-but both times,this guy has kissed me on the mouth-last time-he had his mouth slightly open.
Circumstances mean at present we cannot just say if we like each other romantically-but we laugh at the same stuff,and I get the feeling he likes me,more than as a friend-I really like him.When we talk we always make a lot of eye contact too.
Does anyone think this could become more than friendship ?
I am going crazy thinking about him. Thanks
