Strange structure in field
10 Answers
In a field by the M25 near Clacket Lane services there are some odd things.
There are several concete pipes on end dotted around the place.
There are also numerous wooden structures, like tiny fenced areas with styles to get into them. There doesn't appear to be any logic to their locations, with some very close to others
I wondered at first if they were safety refuges to avoid cattle but there are too many of them. I also notice that in the middle of the fenced square there appears to be a pipe in the ground with a cap on it.
Any idea what is going on here? Are they test bore holes for water or oil?

Checked again today and the location is a bit further east than I described. If travelling westbound on the anti-clockwise carriageway the field is just after junction 6, a few miles short of Clacket Lane.
It is not a BMX circuit, but is a farmers field with cows.
I am intrigued with the landfill idea, but somehow it doesn't seem right. The concrete pipes are large diameter sewer pipes, and may be unconnected to the other things.
The fenced off little pipes in the ground are not evenly spread but seem to be random, some alone and some in clusters.
