Another job left me alone 'on the shop floor' one day when every one of my 4 male colleagues didn't show. My boss appeared briefly enough to tell me I was on my own, he had called in our most useless and bumbling rep to help (from over 100 miles away) while he stayed in his office all day watching me go steadily insane.
