Sore eye!

My right eye is really sore!
I don't know what's wrong with it. I am tired so that could be it but wouldn't it be both eyes?

It's a dry kind of sore.. like when you have a fan blowing in your face and your eye gets dry and sore!

Any ideas why? It's driving me mad coz I keep wanting to rub it!

might be an infection, who knows just dont rub it, hard as it sounds it will spread if it is an infection, if its still like it tomorrow go to docs

could be many things.
try optrex or something to help until you can get to GP

Close the right eye until the left eye dries up enough to be on a par with the right one. Then you won't notice the right one so much.

It could be blepharitis. The best cure is a nice cup of tea.

you could pop in to a Pharmacy if you can - they can sometimes advise and help - if they cant they will tell you to go to doctors

I will leave it till tomorrow .. if it's any better then 'Great'.. if not... I will rub it more until it's irritated, moan on AB and give it another day! Lol.

Hi Ruby, nannon's advice of going to the pharmacy is a good one. They are trained in minor illnesses and are very good at selecting the right product. If it is an infection such as conjuctivitis you can get the treatment over the counter now, or it might just be a temporary problem with dry eyes which they will give you drops for. At least you can just walk in and most have private consultation rooms now. If they are unsure they will always suggest a GP visit.

Thanks Alijangra... I don't know of any round here that have a private consultation room but I will pop to boots on lunch tomorrow and find out.
