It�s not illegal, though your mum would disapprove and his wife is a dog so she might be a bit upset. Also, the man at work who says rude things and talks about oral sex a lot might think it strange that you have gone off him and started to see your cousin, but only because it is out of spite due to the man who you really wanted to declare undying love to is acting uninterested.

For what it's worth, I will tell you it isn't illegal. After all if it is legal to marry as cousins it is obviously legal to have children too. Goodsoulette has quoted something which may happen when cousins pro create ~ however I believe this is something which may happen if cousins marrying has been a regular occurance in the family.

actually Pippa it would basically just make the chance increase. Grandparents cousins 1 in 16 then if parents are cousins I think that could then be 1 in4......etc etc If cousins were to have children genetic counselling would be highly recommended.

My exes family had a cousin marriage on the grandparents. My ex was adopted by the way. The health problems carried on down the male side of the family. The grandparents had 5 healthy girls but 2 very poorly boys. I cant remember the name of the illness but basically it was a little like AIDS, in that it lowered there immune system and they spent their whole lives very sick. Each son has various cancers and polycystic kidneys. Then all those daughters have had healthy daughters but all the boys they have had have had those problems and one is also autistic and another is a hermaphrodite.

If my ex had been a blood relative I would not have had a child with him without genetic counselling.
