Recently i've seen a lot of african people on the bus with healed cuts on their cheeks. It seems to be usually 1 vertical scar on each cheek or 3 downwards slanting scars on each cheek. I 'd be really interested to know why but obviously I can't ask them, does anyone on here know?
Usually scars are tribal markings, going by what my partner who is from S.A has just told me.
Dont know if this is what you mean in this case, but there tends t be 2 main tribes, one with vertical & one with horizontal scars in Zulu.
But that is the case in S.A, but he also says that very few black people over there have much interest in coming to this country.
So i may not be of any help at all!
