Just read an article online that people on the internet lie more and more about themselves, more so on chat forums.....

My question is, other than to gain a momentary boost in ego, or to wind everyone up ..... why would you keep this facade up?

I have been on this site since its inception, and i have never written anything about me that is not totally facual, or a genuinely held belief or opinion.

I can see that people do lie, but internet-porky-production requires a gene I obviously don't have.
