freeview / one scart socket

hi all,
i have seen a freeview box in a sale,
but it only has 1 scart socket,
if i use a scart box with 2 sockets could i connect it to
the freeview box, then connect my dvd recorder as well
as my tv. any info much appreciated.

For more on marking an answer as the "Best Answer", please visit our FAQ.I assume that by a 'scart box with 2 sockets' you're referring to a 2-way Scart splitter box (such as the one shown here for �3.50:

Remember, though, that you'll only be able to record the same programme which you're watching because your set-up only contains a single digital tuner.
