Eldorado TV Soap

Hi. There was a british TV soap called Eldorado that was supposed to be an Eastenders abroad. it ran for only one season from 1992 - 1993 and then due to poor ratings was cancelled. The BBC is said to have spent around 10 million on building a set for the soap and when it was cancelled it was sold. I want to know who the Eldorado set was sold to? i think it was a tv studio but i do not know which one?

The exterior set was practical, rather like Brookside Close and Ramsey Street.
Although no-one lived on the Elderado set at the time, the building weren't just a facade ( like the Eastenders backlot which has walls of fibreglass ), the interiors of the buildings were used for recording interior scenes, so that the production team didn't need to hire studios.

It is now either a holiday resort or residential area, I can't remember which, but I did see it featured on a TV programme some time ago.
I think there are tours of the set that you can go on.
