Meanings of Dreams
19 Answers
I know that some people are able to interpret dreams, so I wondered if anybody could possibly give any meaning to mine, as it was a little unusual...
I dreamt I was an Estate Agent.
I was in the office and got a call from a couple who wanted to sell their property. It was in Windsor and I remember having trouble finding it. It was a block of Executive apartments off a back road. So I go in and meet the couple and it turns out that they want to VIEW the apartment! So I say, "But we're not marketing it. I thought you were the owners."
Anyway, it turns out that a caretaker is on site and he knows that the owners really want to sell, but haven't decided who to market it with. So he gives us access to this apartment for me to do the viewing.
We walk in and it's basically one really large room with 1 double bed, 2 single beds, a kitchenette & small dining table. It's like an Executive bedsit!!
Then I woke up.
What do you think that means then?

Oooh... 'ark at you girly! That's pretty good.
I hadn't realised the dream was so negative!! Did I mention it was a very sunshiney day when I did the viewing though? I do remember that. And the courtyard setting for the apartments was really cute and pretty too. I remember being jealous and wanting to live there until I saw it was like a bedsit! hahaha!

If you dreamt that you were an Estate Agent, it was more likely a nightmare than a dream. But never mind
In analysis of the dream, I would conclude that the couple were your subconscious future, trying to settle in a volatile market where the men are far, few and cheap and property is plenty but pricey. This sort of stuff plays on peoples minds.
I suspect that you were seeing your life develop to a full relationship (the couple) and settling down (the apartment), but uncertainty existed within your systemic consciousness that said, hang on, this cant be right, I am not settling down I dont have a partner, my life is unfulfilled (the estate agent) and lets be sensible about it (the janitor) its alright really as these things will come sometime, we just dont know when the key (access to the apartment/lifestyle) will open that door.
In summary, you need therapy.
