What does the following mean? A hominid of this age should certainly not have the face of a moninid less than one-third of its geological age.

I am not sure of the word moninid in the second line from the bottom - did you mean to write hominid there too? if so, hominid is a primitive being similar to a man (but kind of intermediate between man and monkey) and the sentence would mean: a primitive being from a given era (hunders or thousands years ago) should not have the same facial features as another primitive being which existed much more recently (although still a long time ago). Hope that helps.
