What does the following mean? A hominid of this age should certainly not have the face of a moninid less than one-third of its geological age.

For more on marking an answer as the "Best Answer", please visit our FAQ.I am not sure of the word moninid in the second line from the bottom - did you mean to write hominid there too? if so, hominid is a primitive being similar to a man (but kind of intermediate between man and monkey) and the sentence would mean: a primitive being from a given era (hunders or thousands years ago) should not have the same facial features as another primitive being which existed much more recently (although still a long time ago).
