It is due to us animals that this part of the website is fun. Animals, especially us cats, enjoy having fun and laughing about the stupid humans with whom we share our life.

I am glad that you enjoyed my thread - and think of all the nice cats that wrote little messages. Humans take themselves far too seriously and can be pretty narky and bad tempered. If cats get bad tempered they just bite some human and then they feel better.

My human says that she is actually a dog lover - but no way are we having one of those things in our house.

Frankie the nice tom cat
and
Merlin 'the biter' girl cat
The above was actually from user "frankiecat".

Except his human is feeling rather ill just now and idiotically forgot to log on under his account.

Maybe he is right about stupid humans, but then it wasn't a human who fell down the toilet last week :-)

Susan
human slave to Frankie and Princess Merlin
You will enjoy on this site mycats we love our cats and dogs and other pets we happen to keep or should I say what our pets keep lol.
funny you should say that as i had a glance on the other sections and there are some arrogant and rude people around. But, my old saying is, if you like pets, you are a better person - whats the quote 'the more people I meet, the more I love my dog' - how true!
Oh, yes, guys - I quite agree! This section is the best. Animal-lovers unite. You're right, though - I think they own us, rather than the other way round. My lot (5 cats, 2 dogs) would second that. lol

Oh I know Garner, I've been on AB for 4 years lol, just reminding myself why I come on, and its because of people like you lot cheers
Hear hear :)
Well mycats, If you love Animals & Nature, thats great ! and it's probably best to avoid some of the other sections that are not so nice and let them fight it out amongst themselves.

Ps, I've just bought a gun to get rid of other peoples cats but dont worry, it's an ultra-sonic gun that sends out a harmless inaudable (to humans) sound.
Thunderbird+ I have just woken my human for my 4am snack, she was muttering about getting a gun too. She seems to think that a gun firing water will deter me from waking her during the night - stupid human. By the time she aims I would be half way down the stairs to the kitchen.

I think that most animal lovers are nice people. They enjoy talking about us to their friends and family - getting the kitty photographs out etc.

When human came to this site she visited loads of different sections but now she just visits the animal one. There are lots of people who know things about animals who can give guidance and lots of people who like to relate funny stories. There are some people who are silly - but it is not so clear if they are 'wind up merchants' or what.

Frankie and Merlin - now off back to bed until the next snack time.

I love this section of the site. I look in the other sections and very occassionally post but its always here that I come to first.

I've noticed that my hairy monster has been posting on the "Humans must obey their cat Gods" thread, under the name "Sam the Man". His ego really does need taking down a peg or two. Psychological warfare indeed - next time he tries a "miaow and cute face manouver" it won't get him any result! - oh who am I kidding!

I don't know if any of you have seen the film Shrek but this picture of Puss n' Boots could have been modeled on Sam!

My Frankie has been using the computer too.

The link shows a cute cat with small paws. If I remember your Sam has enormous paws.

Living with a cat is never boring.

I'm off for a cat-nap - maybe we could learn a thing or two from our furry bairns.
OK, mad cat-lovers, how's this for crazy? As most of you know by now, I've got 5 cats & 2 dogs (the cats rule). I swear that my only male cat, Monty, is the re-incarnation of my hubby, as he said he wanted to come back as a cat in this house cos he knew he'd be much loved. Monty was born just before hubby died, 2 yrs ago (he had cancer and he was only 47) and he opened his eyes the day hubby died. He's the only one of my cats that gets into bed with me, snuggles down under the duvet with his head on my shoulder & purrs. He loves chocolate as well (the late Mr K was a complete chocaholic). Am I going mad, or is there something else that we humans can't work out?? K xx
Kleiber - so now you have a mini-Mr K!

It was nice that you managed to be adopted by a sociable cat at a time when you probably needed comforting most.

I have problems living with two cats - fighting siblings - never mind 5 and a couple of dogs.

It is 0243hrs - Frankie was hungry. The fact that I was sleeping was irrelevant. He woke me up and demanded food. I am now fully awake and Frankie is off back to bed, Princess Merlin is staring at a blank wall!
I heard the other day that a certain species of 'dolphin' has been declared as wiped out :( can anyone confirm if this is true or false :(
Dolphins - Yes it is a dolphin from China that nobody has seen for a while - Yangtze river dolphins.

Sorry, everyone, I was getting a bit morbid last night, wasn't I?
I heard that about the dolphins on the news as well - how sad - it's the first species to have been declared extinct for decades.
Wolf - I'm lucky, my lot sleep through the night!
I like this section best too - it's usually fun, sometimes sad but it's been great to know that my cats are the same as everyone elses. I wondered why one of mine persisted in waking me up in the early hours and now I think there's a cat conspiracy!
She got me good the other day - I shoved her rather unceremoniously off the bed when she wouldn't leave me alone at 2.30am (she had food and could get out). When I got up she was making a great fuss outside by the side of my car and kept staring underneath it. I eventually got down on the wet ground to see what was the matter was and she just looked as if to say "Gotcha" and walked off. Having got me wet and muddy I'm sure she was just getting her own back!
I will prevail though! (who am I trying to kid?)
