Ah, thank you too dear bigmamma - I couldn't believe it when this beautiful little grey kitten popped its head out of a shiny carrier bag! She was a joint birthday present from our daughters Coggles & Wispy68. (They bought her from an animal rescue centre a week ago & had been hiding her in Wispy's house).
She is 11 weeks old & the image of our little Smudge who we had for 13 years & was a Russian Blue.
The grandchildren have had a wonderful time with her too & we're all now thinking of a name for her.
Thank you very much Slooow_Jo, Wingnut & NJOK, for your kind birthday wishes.
You're right there Wingnut - I stayed up until 2:30am playing with our new kitten, then cuddled her in bed 'til I dozed off. She's so cute & more importantly toilet trained!
Our two youngest grandaughters stayed (as Mummy is in hospital all day for an intense course of iron transfusions) & are having great fun with her too - although they're going to their other Nanny's shortly.
Whilst our daughters were hiding her away from me, they'd been calling her 'Milly', so that might become her permanent name.
Hi again smudge , your kitten sounds adorable , oh I do soooooo want one but am really allergic to cats.
It is great that she is toilet trained at 11 weeks , bless.
Milly is a perfect name smudge :-) xxx
smudge, - have been away to England and am just catching up before I go to the Baltic capitls next sat. What is the good news? Is Coggles getting better? Are you Ok?
