Printer slow

Can anyone tell me why my printer HP photosmart is printing about one line of a letter every 15 seconds I have tried turning off and disconnecting the printer The task manager even tells me it is slow printing I have no other programs running apart from what is needed for the letter to print

I think I found the problem its the black cartridge that is not working properly
