Ok, so there is complete proliferation of pricks around here recently, agreed? (each person will, of course have their own list, but for me its those people who clog up body and soul with random mutterings about their life without so much as a question in sight, or the utube freaks - main question = "wow isnt this the funniest/dirtiest/most apt video youve ever seen")
Why dont you make it so instead of banning these twonks (they just use their spare username) that they can post, but noone else can see it, only them? That way, everybody else wont have to put up with their drivel, and they'll wonder why noone is answering them. I love it when the people dont get any replies, and start talking to themselves, but i equally find it frustrating to stay off their post, in order to tell them how silly they are

However, yes, i largely agree with you, that category in particular has become a joke with the examples you've given along with the drunken, illiterate or worse....sober illiterate meaningless tripe that's posted there.

Would the 'silent treatment' work if they used their spare usernames as well? If it would, I gotta say, I'd take a sadistic gleeful pleasure in knowing this was in place.

Maybe it would help if the mysterious AB editors actually came on line sometimes and voiced their views and told us why some things wouldn't work. Also maybe they should actually remove comments and people more often.

some sites have an ignore facility where you can select users to ignore and you cant see what they are posting, once these people know they are anonymous they will stop because all they are doing is playing to a crowd, you tube links are inane personalized rubbish i keep saying it and i will say it again its the holiday pics mentality, most of them are about music and that is everyones personal choice, if you liked what they are showing you would have already seen it, my trivia on the other hand is the result of long hours of thought and research :)
