hotpoint washing machine not draining properly

model1100 first edition wont drain fully and therefore will not spin fully and leaks when spin starts . Have cleared the bottletrap filter to no effect.,Any ideas before she serves divorce papers :-))

When these problems started on my machine I found a coin was in the hose from the drum to the pump and when the water flowed the coin flipped over blocking the hose.

Take this hose off and see if there is a blockage

If the machine is not old get a man in to sort it , much cheaper than a divorce !! Ask around and find a man who has sorted one for a friend .
