AB site running slow?

I'm new to AB, and really like the layout etc. But I have found that the whole thing seems to be running really slow. Is this normal, or is there a reason for this?

Ab runs slow, somtimes, its down to high volume of traffic or to do with the server.
Whatever you do don't go on answerbank.
Either way don't worry.
