Strix, while one appreciates your helpfulness, you've really gone a bit OTT with all those answers. Makes a bit of a nonsense of the crossword challenge. Perhaps there should be a limit of, say, two questions/answers per crossword. What think others?

I must say I'm inclined to agree sincnoel. If you answer the question as asked, thats fine. The trouble is that anyone who is doing the crossword is confronted with all these answers, whilst merely browsing, and it can spoil it for them. Fortunately I don't do these crosswords, but nevertheless I think the members must police themselves as we don't want any more Draconian measures brought in by you know who.

This is exactly the reason that last monday I tried asking for all the answers to the Herculis. A lot of us who ask for one or two answers are still doing the puzzle and stumbling across a batch of answers like this can spoil our enjoyment, so please just try to answer the clue asked for.
