I think my cat is pregnant. What I need to know is will my other male (neutered) cat be a problem when she has the litter? He is a very good natured cat and he and she are like brother and sister - he always looks out for her. Will the animal instinct break through and possibly attack the kittens? If so what can I do about it without getting rid of my male cat? Please help

When my cousin's cat had kittens, her other cat (the kitten's uncle (neutered)) was no problem at all - in fact he was a bit scared of them and spent a lot of time out of the house, in general avoided them until they were bigger! If your male cat has been neutered and is generally a good boy then i think there's no reason to worry that there'll be a problem. He probably won't have much to do with them at all until they are old enough to put up a fight, and when they are very small their mum will keep a protective eye on them.

Don't worry. morg_monster is right, and if he does come too near Mother cat will soon tell him to clear off! He might even lend her a hand bringing them up.
