The name of that tune is "Hanging" and it's by Craig Armstrong. It's on the Plunkett & Macleane soundtrack.

Are you sure it is by Craig Armstrong, I cant find that song by him anywhere.

Well, I had a look for Hanging and that tune came up (but it was called Hanging outro), but if you look at http://www.craigarmstrongonline.com/film_score /plunkett_macleane.htm - you can listen to a track called "Escape" and it sounded the same, so it's either

Craig Armstrong - Hanging
or
Craig Armstrong - Escape
