When I tried downloading Limewire

When I downloaded it, it replaced my Java Virtual Machine with Sun's Virtual machine as the default. So, how do I make my browser use the virtual machine provided already on the pc, as opposed to Sun's (which I dont really like)???

Limewire won't work with MS's JVM.  Hence it installed Sun's (which is the original VM).  You can change your default JVM in Internet Explorer by going to Tools, Internet Options, Advanced.  There should be options for Sun's and MS's JVM there.  You can remove Sun's Java implementation altogether from Add/Remove programs.
