Limewire keeps loading by itself?

I have had limewire on my computer for some time now with no problems. now all of a sudden it just keeps loading by itself. If i close it it just loads up again, how can i stop this? do you think i have a virus?

i have lime wire aswell. i also had the smae prblem. i solved it by going into the setings and opting for it not to auto load.
if u want to close it. dont just click the red cross at the top. you have to right click the icon in the icon tray and choose either exit or exit after transfers

Unfortunately ive experienced this myself, its not good news. my problem was a worm called alcra Do a google search for it and see if that is what you are experiencing. The only free way i could get rid of it was to zero fill my hard drive and start all over with a fresh install of everything.

Oh by the way there is another worm in that same family called "alcan a". your best bet is to do a virus scan and go from there.
