Back to windows xp

i updated by computer to windows vista a couple of months back from windows xp. not alot of the programs i use work with vista so i want to use xp again. Is there anyway of gettin back to it because when i got my laptop it never came with a windows xp disc or anything because it was already on it! please help

there is normally a hidden area (look in disk management to see) containing the files you need.

this next sounds a little far fetched ... but it's true - honest

some versions of Vista upgrade gives you the option to ununstall back to XP
(buy you would have had to tick the box) look in add remove progs ... you might ......

otherwise ... it's time to contact the manufacturer and stamp your feet ... they will eventually cave and send you a disc.

Alternatively ... on the underside of the lappy there should be a licence sticker with the serialnumber ... if you can borrow a disc from someone ... that should work

Phone or e-mail the company who made your laptop (their support group).

Tell them your hard disk has crashed and you have had to buy a new one.

Ask for a Windows XP recovery disk.
