Jeff Wayne's The eve of the war

Jeff Wayne's eve of the war, isn't it just one of the most cool tunes ever?
The bit after the first narration usually makes the hairs on the back of my neck stand up.
I wonder if it could be re-done with a load of electric guitars and modern instruments?

If you like it, then I recommend going to see it live. Truly awe inspiring stuff.

Funny you mention that, becuase i love Jeff Waynes WOTW, but..
I wnet to see it live twice, and was really disapointed.
Firstly the music was too loud, it totaly drowned out the vocals, and the man behind the music (jeff) enevr said anything to his audience. (just bowed)
Wierder still was my expectatiosn of the concert, goign to many before (concerts) I was expecting to sing along to every song with everyone..
It was suprising to find that only I was, everyone else clapped when the songs where over.
I suppose its wierd what to expect after all the music appeals to different types of people./ listners, classical, rock..etc.
I was suprised that poeple di not seem to want to sing along though, to me that was a given, and ruined somethign that I was very much looking forward to.
