where to obtain a written report

Does any one know of any firm local to Sheffield area that will write a detailed report on the problems of a block paved driveway.Its been down a couple of years and is falling to bits.Ive asked the firm that laid it to put it right politely but no joy.So going through small claims to sort it out but court requires a written report on all the problems.Only person Ive contacted so far is from Warrington and cost is about �500 for him to come out and then write one.Hoping someone might know of someone closer.Thanks in advance.And a big thank you to the people who responded to the PC question earlier.
