I think Bracher is missing a key point that the younger Mr. Forrest is trying to make: engaging in sodomy is a choice. Perhaps being sexually attrached to members of the same sex is not a choice, but carrying through with those desires is quite definitely a choice. As a parallel example, i notice that i am sexually attracted to many different women; however, i am not a polygamist because i chose to not act out my sexual desires. It's a very clever and subtle strategy of the gay agenda to make everyone think sodomy is not a choice; it is. The elder Mr. Forrest was not asking nor forcing Nock and Martinon to cease from being sexually attracted to each other; he simply refused to grant them accomodations that would accomodate them carrying out their perverse desires. I'm sure that if i tried to make reservations at Mr. Forrest's establishment for me and 3 wives to share one bed, he would turn me down in the same way.

You people writing on here really have no idea what Tom is like - you don't know him and your opinions of him are merely snapshots of what you choose to read and believe. I have known him for 10 years as guest and friend - he is not homophobic and his family are not opinionated bigots. His family is one that anyone would be proud of. I also am not homophobic, having gay brother and friends and bisexual friends - so please don't tell me that I am - because again you don't know me. Tom did not refuse these two guys a room and they should get over it. They chose to make a big issue out of it not Tom - they started the argument and I am not surprised that he lost his temper. Everyone has opinions and is entitled to their opinion - everyone who has posted on here all seem to think so! I have stayed at Tom's when there were gay couples staying and I know that he was just as courteous and friendly to them as to his heterosexual guests. Tom's house rules are his own personal prerogative and I for one admire him for sticking to his principles and not being browbeaten by people who set themselves up as self-righteous superbeings - gay or not!Let's face it we haven't even got a government that sticks to its true principles - but I can't be bothered to comment further on that. I couldn't agree more with Kags that the man is a contemptible bigot. Not only that, he seems to have contaminated his family with the poison of bigotry and ignorance. I thought his son/daughter (blank just about sums him/her up!!) was a spoiled brat, throwing a tantrum because his 'daddy' was being criticized. If this Forrest character opens his house to paying guests, he should accept who he gets or make it clear on his literature - house of bigotry, gays not allowed to be a couple. As for those postings of 'poofs not being normal', it's a lifestyle choice etc. etc. - the same tired old idoicy that just about sums up those narrow minded bigots who I don't suppose will ever accept that homosexuality isn't a choice and gays have a right to be treated the same as heterosexuals. Telling a couple they can't share a double room is offensive and insulting and I hope this bigot gets no customers and ends up in the bankrupcy courts.
